This year I have made the choice to support a new, fresh voice for Indiana’s 9th District Congressional seat.
That voice is Shelli Yoder.
My life’s work has been devoted to the welfare of children in our community. I know too well what happens when families are stressed by cutbacks in programs that affect our youth and children, especially vulnerable families that are impacted by the whims of the national economy. It is the children and their futures that suffer most. Shelli works each day helping the leaders of tomorrow in her job as Associate Director of Professional Development as she counsels students on career choices.
I am confident that Shelli Yoder will keep these families foremost in her mind when she serves us in Congress. I am confident that she will represent their voices – and ours – with her voice. I am confident that she will use her talents to build a better and more secure future for Hoosiers by supporting programs that elevate the status of children and youth across our great state.
